Being Downright Silly!

As I was stumbling around the web - I ran across the picture and thought it was just too cute! Look at this seal, doesn't it look like he knew exactly what he was doing. It's like he's saying ... "Hey - Look at me"! I love this picture - especially the goofy face on that seal! It's definately not only too cute ... but can put a smile on absolutely every ones face!! I hope you're SMILING too!!

Take Me Away

Oh, as always, I try to see the positive through (my) lifes' small disasters. Yet, almost every body on this planet is having a hard time struggling through very difficult times. In our country of these United States we have "middle-class" families that are becoming homeless - children that are literally going hungry. The economy is collapsing all around the world, the rich are getting wealthier, the middle-class are getting weaker. All over the planet we are having devastating natural disasters. Earthquakes, flooding, famine, our ozone layer is depleted, ice burgs are melting and leaving alot of our precious wild animals ie: polar bears near extinction, not to mention all the jungles in Borneo and Sumatra that are jeopardizing the wild life that has depended on those areas for survival.


I can go on and on about all of this .... when I think of my "life disasters", I have to Thank God for all my blessings no matter how large or small. Sometimes, I just close my eyes and let my imagination just "Te Me Away".

A Late Start For 2010

The end of 2009 was quite an ending. Losing Alex was the hardest of all. It's taken all this time to finally pull up my boots and get on with life.
So far over the past few weeks, I am beginning to get my spirit back and I certainly feel blessed for so many reasons.

I went back and read some of my old poetry and realized how good of a writer I was. I wrote my book "Poems by Pakni" and am thinking about publishing it. I'm also thinking about writing a "collection of stories" .. not necessarily a book about my life, although very entertaining, I'd like to write about the "funny" things and the "miracles" that have happened. The book I'm thinking about writing is a very positive and uplifting kind of book. I do believe this is a goal I'll make for myself this year. "A Collection of Stories".

Kanye a Jack-Ass!

It's True!! President Obama said so and I think that he finally made a statement that everyone can agree with. Jay Leno had Kanye on his show the other day and asked him what he thought his Mother would say about his actions ... well if you saw Jay's opening night .. you also saw what was almost a crying Kanye! Yeah .. he wasn't looking so cool with quivering lips and holding back his tears. But .. perhaps this is what it took for him to wake up and realize .. "He's NOT all that" and his actions proved it. On a higher note .. I think Taylor obviously showed much more maturity, intelligence and class than Kanye has in his pinky finger nail. Of course, it's just my opinion.

We Shall Never Forget

Eight years ago today ~ and we will never forget. My prayers go out to the families of those we lost on that unforgivable day of September 11th. I pray for our troops and their families and I pray for America and all her citizens. This morning when I was watching the news, they were showing footage of what happened. It is still a very painful memory for me, as I'm sure it is for all of us. On that Day - we all became United as One People. Things should not change. We still have our troops over there and we should never forget or stop praying for them especially now, 8 years later. I love my country, I live by my constitution and I am very proud of the men and woman that are brave, couragous and fighting for our Freedom. I say, If you cant stand behind our American Soldiers, then .. Stand In Front Of Them!

RIP DJ AM

Tragedy. He (DJ AM) almost died in a plane crash, but the Good Lord spared his life and allowed him to continue fulfilling His purpose. Tonight DJ AM is dead. An appearent suicide or perhaps accidental. He was sober for 9 years and then when he broke up with his girlfriend .. he obviously ... "lost it". Sad story. May he rest in peace.

Keeping Faith

Although I always try to stay positive and always look at the brighter side of things .. I have to say that today was a very tough day for me. I was feeling and thinking thoughts I haven't had in a very long time.
Tonight I am Thanking God for grabbing me and pulling me back up. Sometimes I forget that with God, all things are possible. No matter how bad things seem .. if you stop for a moment and know that God is always with you ... you will be able to take a deep breath and Relax.

Ooh I am Just Too Cute

Wow .. a new discovery. Today is my first time "blogging" and my motivation is "GloZell". Have you folks heard of this gal? She's a riot and quite entertaining. One of my friends (Danny) has always insited that I would be a great comedian. I never thought I was particulary funny ... but ... that's neither here nor there ... Today is my first day learning how to "Blog" .. so I hope I can get good at it and learn how to post videos and other things .. such as the link to "GloZell" .. you can search for her on You Tube ... she's got alot of entertaining videos there.
